Late October is generally a quieter season in Colorado, but with nearby universities, we anticipate some city-wide events during our wedding weekend. CU Boulder may host Family Weekend and potentially a home football game, which could increase demand for local accommodations.
To help ensure you have a place to stay, we encourage you to book early! We’ve reserved room blocks at three area hotels, and you’re also welcome to explore the many camping sites, cabins, boutique hotels, and AirBnBs in the surrounding area.

Vacation rentals: For those looking for something extra special such as scenic views, private hot tubs, office space, multiple bed rooms, etc, vacation rentals through AirBnB and VRBO provide great offerings.
Camping: Camping is plentiful in Colorado and one of our favorite activities to do as a family. Check out HipCamp for local gems, Rocky Mountain National Park, or even our trusty friend Google. Amenities vary greatly so check twice before you book.
Estes Park: For that rugged (and tourist) Colorado mountain town vide, check out Estes Park as there are many lodging options in the area from the famous Stanley Hotel (The Shinning) to quaint rustic cabins.
Hotels.com: And if you still need more options, use Jackie’s favorite hotel booking site, Hotels.com. Boulder has great options from boutiques to big names.
